XCAP – Healing Power – True Testimonial

13 06 2012

XCAP Testimonial (by Cassio S. Lopes )

“My mother is a 70 years old lady who passed thorugh a complicated problem recently.
She fell down and injured her shoulder. The rotator cuff was partially hurt and the tendons were almost destroyed with this accident.
Doctors made her do a MRI and detected she had a serious damage to her tendons. They diagnosed her and told she will never get her shoulder heal again.
Doctors recommended her to do 50 physioterapy sessions just to allow her to have shoulder movements partiatilly recovered. If she wanted even better results, she should go under surgery. However, as I told previously, my mother is a 70 year old lady and she is diabetic.

I was taking some XCAP supplements and I thought it would worth a try giving her my supplements. i was informed that there are no problems in administrate those supps to diabetic person.
So, I started giving her Xtra Enzymes, Max EFAs, Natural Mins, Joint Flex and B12 Nitro.

One month later, she told me she did not feel her shoulder aching anymore. Two months after start taking XCAP, she felt completely cured.
She went back to the doctor and told the good news. Doctors did not believe her and asked for another MRI. The MRI showed that her tendons were healed.

That was incredible! As a side effect of the supplments ingestion, her sugar levels almost reutrned to normal, her blood pressure regularized and her iron levels got back to normal.
She gained life quality and is more energetic with better overall health condition.

I would like to thank Doc John to provide me some alternative solutions and to XCAP for making state of the art supplements (and send me them to BRAZIL).

Kind regards,
Cassio S. Lopes ”

Do you have a Chronic Cough? We Can Help.

5 08 2011

Try B12 Nitro from XCAP, it may just get rid of your cough.

A new study shows that deficiency of vitamin B12 might be a factor in unexplained chronic cough and dysfunction of the pharynx and larynx.

Vitamin B12 supplements improved histamine thresholds and significantly raised the cough threshold in patients with vitamin deficiency.

The study, presented here at the World Allergy Organization XXI World Allergy Congress by Giuseppe Guida, MD, from Allergy and Clinical Immunology, University of Turin and Mauriziano Hospital in Italy, examined the effect of histamine on the cough threshold and the upper and lower airway responsiveness in patients with unexplained cough.

The current study looked at 40 patients with chronic unexplained cough. Of these, 25 were found to have vitamin B12 deficiency (serum levels <300 pg/mL); the control group consisted of 15 chronic-cough patients with no detected nutritional deficiency.

Patients deficient in vitamin B12 were found to have significantly lower threshold values for extrathoracic airway and cough, but bronchial thresholds did not differ from those of control subjects.

Vitamin B12 supplementation improved histamine thresholds (reduced hyperresponsiveness) in vitamin-deficient patients without significantly changing them in control subjects. This improvement was found in bronchial (P < .01),
extrathoracic airway (P < .001), and cough (P <.01) thresholds.

“Supplementation is certainly very easy to perform”, Dr. Guida told Medscape Allergy and Immunology. “So, theoretically, there is a good way to treat this disease.”

“Of course, we need more data to confirm the fact that there is a strong association between these 2 cofactors [chronic cough and the B12 deficiency],” acknowledged Dr. Guida. However, “if this is the case, [this] could be a
very easy way to help these people,” he said, “especially because they are older and it’s a very easy medication to [administer].”

Try 1-3 B12 Nitro lozenges from XCAP per day.

If you get hit in the head, take Max EFA’s

15 02 2011

I recommend that people take Max EFAs from XCAP for many reasons such as hormone support, exercise recovery, heart, skin and joint health.

Here is yet another reason to take Max EFAs.  Studies are showing that if you do an activity that involves getting hit in the head, you should take Max EFAs.

Football, MMA, Boxing, Soccer and many other sports involve getting hit in the head.

Omega-3 Curbed Traumatic Brain Injury in Rats

Rats that got the highest dose of omega-3 DHA displayed the least brain damage.

Traumatic brain injury or TBI happens during accidents and sports mishaps, when the brain takes a shock that causes tissue damage.

Sadly, TBI became the signature wound of the Iraq war, in which some soldiers survived a blast only to suffer invisible blows to their cognitive and emotional capacities.

Omega-3s may offer hope for blunting the effects of TBI.

For example, in 2004, researchers reported that omega-3s deterred the worst brain damage from concussions suffered by rats.

Two rat experiments published in 2010  – bolstered the idea that omega-3s can curb the brain damage resulting from TBIs.

AA Resveratrol Blast helps burn fat

11 02 2011

I will sum up this study up to make it easy to understand.  Resveratrol helps in the required steps for your body to burn fat.  XCAP’s product is called AA Resveratrol Blast.

Here is a list of other things that AA Resveratrol Blast has been shown to improve in studies.

Up-regulation of Adiponectin by resveratrol: the essential

roles of the Akt/FOXO1 and AMP-activated protein kinase

signaling pathways and DsbA-L.

J Biol Chem. 2011 Jan 7;286(1):60-6.Metabolic Syndrome Research Center, Second Xiangya Hospital, Central South University,

Hunan 410011, China.

OBJECTIVE: The natural polyphenol resveratrol (RSV) displays a wide spectrum of health

beneficial activities, yet the precise mechanisms remain to be fully elucidated. Here we show that

RSV promotes the multimerization and cellular levels of adiponectin in 3T3-L1 adipocytes.

METHODS AND RESULTS: The stimulatory effect of RSV was not affected by knocking out

Sirt1, but was diminished by suppressing the expression levels of DsbA-L, a recently identified

adiponectin-interactive protein that promotes adiponectin multimerization. Suppression of the Akt

signaling pathway resulted in an increase in the expression levels of DsbA-L and adiponectin. On

the other hand, knocking out FOXO1 or suppressing the activity or expression levels of the AMP-

activated protein kinase (AMPK) down-regulated DsbA-L and adiponectin. The stimulatory effect

of RSV on adiponectin and DsbA-L expression was completely diminished in FOXO1-suppressed

and AMPK-inactivated 3T3-L1 adipocytes.

CONCLUSIONS: Taken together, our results demonstrate that RSV promotes adiponectin

multimerization in 3T3-L1 adipocytes via a Sirt1-independent mechanism. In addition, we show

that the stimulatory effect of RSV is regulated by both the Akt/FOXO1 and the AMPK signaling

pathways. Last, we show that DsbA-L plays a critical role in the promoting effect of RSV on

adiponectin multimerization and cellular levels.

Zinc improves mood

11 02 2011

We know from previous studies that Zinc helps with many things such as preventing scarring after a cut, thyroid health and hormone production.  We have very specific instructions on the www.XCAP.tv website on how to use zinc.

Role of zinc in the development and treatment of mood disorders

Curr Opin Clin Nutr Metab Care. 2010 Nov;13(6):685-9.

Department of Biomedical Sciences, Florida State University College of Medicine, Tallahassee,

Florida, USA.

PURPOSE OF REVIEW: The present review is a critical examination of the most recent

published work on the role of zinc in the development and treatment of mood disorders.

RECENT FINDINGS: Clinical studies and experimental work using animal models have both

revealed a link between zinc status and neuropsychological disorders such as depression and

anxiety. Not only has zinc deficiency been shown to induce depression-like and anxiety-like

behaviors, supplementation has been used as a treatment for major depression. Zinc

administration improves the efficacy of antidepressant drugs in depressed patients and may have

a particular role to play in treatment-resistant patients. Recent investigations into the molecular

mechanisms responsible for these observations suggest a role for zinc in the regulation of

neurotransmitter systems, antioxidant mechanisms, neurotrophic factors, and neuronal precursor

cells.

SUMMARY: The data reviewed here not only indicate a role for zinc deficiency in the

development of mood disorders, but also show that zinc may also be important in their treatment.

Given the prevalence of zinc deficiency in human populations, this work has the potential to

influence strategies to prevent and treat these disorders.

XCAP’s Gian Villante: Football’s ‘10 Times’ More Dangerous Than MMA

10 02 2011

After tryouts with various NFL teams didn’t work out, Gian Villante  decided to try something he sees as safer: MMA.

“I feel like football’s 10 times more dangerous and savage than MMA is,” Villante said Monday on the Sherdog Radio Network’s “Beatdown” show. “I’ve got 10 times worse injuries playing football than I did with MMA.”  Villante recently trained at Xreme Couture, MMA.

The 25-year-old native of Wantagh, N.Y., was a standout linebacker at Hofstra University. Since transitioning to fighting, he has compiled a 7-1 record and earned prospect status as Ring of Combat’s heavyweight champion. He fights Chad Griggs on Saturday in an alternate bout for Strikeforce’s heavyweight tournament.

“In [MMA], we have weight divisions. We see the shots that are coming,” Villante said. “In football, you don’t see it. It’s a 400-pound guy coming as fast as a car can move sometimes, and you don’t see him. He’s coming to clean your clock, and you’re not even looking at him. … That’s why these guys are getting these head injuries and shoulders are dislocating and all that stuff.”

Villante has cleaned a few clocks himself. All seven of his wins have been finishes, including a knockout via a head kick. Clearly the athleticism he used on the football field has translated to the ring.

“If we don’t feel like we’re getting the right opportunity somewhere, why not take your talent somewhere else? Football players, most of us are pretty good athletes,” Villante said. “Big, strong guys that are explosive, fast athletes. In mixed martial arts, that bodes well for knockout power.”

Of course, Villante was not just a football player. He also wrestled at Hofstra.

“I think wrestling’s very important too,” he said. “If you get a guy who just played football and has no wrestling experience, you’re going to have some trouble in there. I think that’s where it kind of helped me mix in and start off my career real fast and in the right direction.”

Villante has a two-year, six-fight deal with Strikeforce. Although he sees his future in the light heavyweight division, he said the alternate matchup against Griggs and a possible slot in the heavyweight tournament was too good to pass up.

“Chad Griggs isn’t a huge heavyweight,” Villante explained. “He’s 235, I believe. Nothing too big. He’s a guy that I think is a good fight for me.”

Griggs is coming off an upset win over Bobby Lashley last August. Villante was impressed with the fact that Griggs was not scared of his larger opponent.

“He’s a guy that comes to fight,” Villante said. “I’m not going to intimidate him if I flex at him because I guess Bobby Lashley is a little bigger than I am. … I think you can expect fireworks because we’re two guys that have pretty much finished every fight we’ve been in.”

Villante is expecting another finish and another win on Saturday as well.

“Like a football linebacker, if I see a hole, I’m going to go through. If I see an opening, if I see a guy hurt, I’m going to finish it,” Villante said. “If I get on him and I can catch him with something early, then I’m not going to take it easy. I’m going to try to finish the fight right away.”

Listen to the full interview (beginning at 1:33:20) with Villante, who also discussed a possible matchup against Alistair Overeem should he enter the tournament.
